Then the Canadian Francophone Games are for you
The Canadian Francophone Games are among the largest gatherings of Canada’s French speaking youth with close to 1 ,000 participants every 3 years.
On our program, arts, leadership and sports competitions and other activities showcasing French-Canadian cultural pride.
- be aged between 14 and 18 years old (born between January 1st, 2002 and December 31st, 2006 inclusively);
- be a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident and must be able to use French on a day to day basis.
Chaperones, coaches, assistants and chef de mission must be 18 years old or older at the time of the Games.
Selection of participants is managed by provincial and territorial teams. Other than the rules stated above, other criteria may be used by the youth associations to select their team members. They may be different from one team to the other. To know more about these rules, please contact your delegation.

Social Night Program
What makes the Games so interesting is certainly the social night program. It’s one of the best moments for participants to make friends and celebrate.
Shows, on-site entertainment, festive atmosphere, history and heritage discovery of the host cities; everything is there to create an amazing experience that goes way beyond a simple competition.
The social night program is part of the Games and is mandatory for all participants.
