Victoria, November 16, 2018 – The Fédération de la jeunesse canadienne-française (French-Canadian Youth Federation – “FJCF”) is thrilled to receive financial support of $1,980,000 from the Government of Canada, through Canadian Heritage, to hold the next edition of the Jeux de la francophonie canadienne (Canadian Francophone Games). This morning, the Honourable Mélanie Joly was in Victoria, British Columbia, to announce this support where the 8th edition of the JeuxFC will be held in July 2020.
In a tweet published by the Minister last June, she claimed: “After the memorable experience I witnessed in Moncton-Dieppe in 2017, I have no doubt that the 8th Jeux de la francophonie canadienne will be a great success in Victoria!”
