WINNIPEG June 2nd, 2005 – In cooperation with the Forks Development Corporation, the 3rd Jeux de la francophonie canadienne (Canadian Francophone Games) will get started on the Forks’ main stage with the Opening Ceremonies.
The Opening Ceremonies will be a celebration of francophone youth in Canada, of it’s vitality and the arrival of Les Jeux de la francophonie in Western Canada. It will consist of a parade of all thirteen delegations, the torch relay, participants, the official opening of the Games and various shows.
