Le Guide écolo des Jeux de la francophonie canadienne
Le comité organisateur des JFC est particulièrement fier de présenter Le Guide écolo des Jeux de la francophonie canadienne du Grand Sudbury 2011- Moi mes racines, j’en prends soin! Ce guide énumère tous les efforts écoresponsables effectués dans le but de diminuer l’empreinte écologique des Jeux. Une des valeurs préconisées par les Jeux est d’encourager et de contribuer au développement durable et écoresponsable.

Grand Sudbury – Les organisateurs des Jeux de la francophonie canadienne du Grand Sudbury 2011 ont dévoilé la programmation culturelle qui accompagnera les compétitions du 20 au 24 juillet. Lors d’une conférence de presse tenue aujourd’hui dans le hall d’entrée de la place Tom Davies, on a annoncé que plusieurs grands noms de la chanson seront en scène au nouvel amphithéâtre Grace-Hartman au parc Bell pour un événement qui fera date dans les annales de la francophonie canadienne. Isabelle Boulay, Zachary Richard et Karkwa sont parmi les artistes de renom présentés par les JFC dans le cadre de spectacles où tous sont bienvenus.
Gatineau, January 11, 2013 – The Organizing Committee for the Jeux de la francophonie canadienne Gatineau 2014 (JFC) today unveiled the logo for this national event, which will bring together 1,000 Francophones between 13 and 18 years of age, from every Canadian province and territory, for five days of competition between July 23 and 27, 2014. Participants will get to connect while testing their talents in three different areas: the arts, sports and leadership.
“This visual signature is a clear reflection of Gatineau’s imprint on this sweeping celebration of Canada’s Francophone youth. Not only will it generate close to $4 million for our economy, but the JFC will also strengthen the city’s reputation and position as a key player when it comes to staging major events. I invite all Gatineau residents, particularly its youth, to get involved in this terrific adventure,” indicated Gatineau Mayor Marc Bureau at the logo’s unveiling.
Greater Sudbury – Organizers of the Greater Sudbury 2011 Canadian Francophone Games have unveiled the arts and culture programming surrounding the national competitions our city will host from July 20th to 24th. At a press conference held today in the foyer at Tom Davies Squ are, organizers proudly announced that internationally renowned artists will be performing at the new Grace Hartman Amphitheatre. Isabelle Boulay, Zachary Richard and Karkwa are among the performers presented by the CFG in evening concerts where all are welcome to attend.

Grand Sudbury – Les Productions Roches brûlées (PRB), qui se joignent à l’équipe des Jeux de la francophonie du Grand Sudbury, promettent une programmation haute en couleur créée avec les jeunes artistes de la région!
«Les JFC du GS représentent une occasion exceptionnelle pour valoriser les jeunes artistes de chez nous mais aussi pour permettre la création de liens des plus enrichissants entre les communautés francophones partout au pays. Nous sommes fiers de collaborer à cet événement», affirme Mélissa Rockburn co-directrice des PRB.

Sudbury – In July 2011, paddlers will be drawn to the City of Greater Sudbury for a unique event. The launch of the first ever Great Urban Canoe Adventure took place today at Laurentian University’s Jeno-Tehanyi Olympic Gold Pool.
The Great Urban Canoe Adventure – Saturday, July 23, 2011 Greater Sudbury will play host to the first ever “Great Urban Canoe Adventure”. This 12 km adventure race will take its participants from Bell Park to the Track at Laurentian University over a course that includes 5lakes (Ramsey, Bethel, Ramsey – South Bay, Laurentian, Bennett, Nepahwin) and 6 exciting portages. An outdoor adventure in the heart of Downtown Sudbury!
Jean-François Carrey, Great Canadian Adventurer, Honorary Co-Chair of the 2011 Canadian Francophone Games
Sudbury – The 2011 Canadian Francophone Games are proud to announce that the great Franco- Ontarian adventurer Jean-François Carry will be one the honorary co-chairs for this national event which will take place in Greater Sudbury from July 20 to 24.
Greater Sudbury – The Greater Sudbury 2011 Canadian Francophone Games officially launched its promotional video Moi mes racines (I Have Roots) at Collège Boréal’s Jean-Watters Amphitheatre today. The organizing committee also unveiled a new activity guide for high school students, reported progress in its volunteer recruitment campaign and highlighted important upcoming dates.

Greater Sudbury – The Greater Sudbury 2011 Canadian Francophone Games are proud to announce Vale as the official presenting sponsor of the Games. The $75 000 sponsorship will help support approximately 1,200 francophone youth that will come compete at the Games taking place in Sudbury July 20 – 24, 2011.
“Vale’s sponsorship will allow us to invest in our programming and eco-responsible planning,” said Paul Lefebvre, Chair of the Board. “This will help make the Games an event that will be recognized on a national level. Vale’s contribution also reiterates its commitment to the community.”
